Freshers week is often gassed up as the best week of your life but for many it doesn't live up to its expectations and that certainly was the case for me. Not knowing anyone, lacking confidence and not really getting along too well with my flatmates, I felt super lonely and just wanted to go home. This led me to start doing things differently and meet people outside the club. The problem is, I just didn't know where else, none of the societies appealed to me and I can't rizz ppl in the library if they're busy studying. That's when I realised, all I had to do was talk to people no matter where I was.
